Do not store or lay the rug in a room with high humidity or in places where stores, or may use a violent or toxic chemicals.

Avoid putting the rug in to direct sunlight.

A rug, as we know, can hang on the wall, lying on the floor or stored collapsed in a roll. But we must remember that the carpet is best "feel" when it spread on the floor, because it is made for the purpose.

Avoid placing furniture on the rug with sharp feet.

Remember occasionally to bring the rug lying on the floor to 90 or 180 degrees. So you avoid uneven wear of the rug where it often walk (especially in front of the room).

While rolling the rug for long storage, be sure to put special paper leaves into it for reservation.

Periodically, clean the rug with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner, preferably not at the strong line of work.

If you find small pieces of dust and dirt on your rug, you can remove them with a wet brush or swab. After that it is suggested to move the rug from the floor so it could freely circulate air and dry it quickly.

If you want to pay for carpet cleaning, try this, which specialize in handmade rugs. In general, the better to avoid cleaning the rug, except where absolutely necessary.

To preserve the nap of moth, useful every few months simply to tap the rug. Turn it down and nap tap lightly across the surface. Then shake the rug to remove dust and leave for some time outdoors.

Remember : moth increasingly opened in rugs, hanging on a wall or in rolled position. Carpet, which is used for the purpose intended, placed on the floor and walk on it, in which moth is found much less.
